DESCRIPTION:This year our Rainbows will be enchanted with our annual Christmas experience at Murton Park. We will visit Santa in his village\, receive a gift of special Christmas Murton Money to exchange for a gift in the toy shop and find Mrs Christmas on the train with the elves. You’ll then enjoy a ride on the Derwent Valley Light Railway Christmas train and some simple Christmas crafts to try and take home. \nTwo sessions will run during the day\, full details have been provided to unit leaders directly. DESCRIPTION:A county day with a difference! Based on a knowledge exchange principle this is a chance to ”Pump up the Programme” and “Gee up your Guiding”. An event for volunteers to come together to share and gain knowledge including: adventure for units\, activity exchange\, treasurer’s tips\, turning parents into volunteers\, looking after you and much more! Participants will choose their preferred sessions\, some of which will be trainer led and others facilitated discussions amongst participants. \n10am – 4pm at Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church. Young Leaders and External Volunteers welcome (permission forms required). \nCost £5\, which is a legitimate unit expense. Uniform to be worn\,. Refreshments provided but own lunch required. \nOnly open to volunteers with Girlguiding North Yorkshire South.
