             County Commissioner welcome

This is a very busy time of year for all our volunteers, particularly our local commissioners.  I’m sure everyone is aware that subscription invoices are now available to download and time to get the payment sent off. Milestone dates are:
  • Tuesday 22 February: Official and payable invoices available to download.
  • 18 March:  A reminder email will be sent to the main contact of any level that hasn’t yet paid their official invoice.
  • 1 April, midday: All subscription payments must be received in full by this date.
Currently, we have 22 invoices “not yet viewed”.  Please help your local commissioner and the county by paying your invoice as soon as possible.

As we move into spring, thankfully we have started to put the limitations of the pandemic behind us.  We look forward to the usual Girlguiding adventures taking place in 2022. As we start to think about planning adventures for 2022, we have tried to help our volunteers by putting together a couple of training options for residential and camping events.  Whether you are new to “Going Away” or an experienced camper I’m sure there will be something for you.

  • Lesley is running a Brownie Weekend at White Rose House on Saturday 26 March 2022 and has invited volunteers to pop into anytime between 11am – 9pm to see what happens.
  • Alison is organising a training event at White Rose House on Saturday 9 April 2022, by the Region Outdoor Lead Volunteer,  to give volunteers the confidence to take their unit on a residential adventure, either for the very first time or after a break.
If there are any events you would like your county commissioners to attend, please let us know and we will do our best to join you

Thank you

Lesley & Alison
